About Nicole Cromwell,

Nicole Cromwell is an artist, nurse, author, and wellness advocate. After decades at the bedside, much of it spent caring for patients and families in the ICU, she witnessed firsthand how, not only overwhelming, but also disorienting and emotionally taxing, hospital stays can be.
She created these journals to connect the clinical and the emotional, giving families clarity, comfort, and a place to reflect during one of life’s most vulnerable times.
Her goal is to support healing in a way that honors both the patient and the care partner. These tools are drawn not just from her professional experience, but from the heart of someone who has walked alongside others in moments of crisis and deeply believes in the healing power of creativity, and connection.
When she’s not creating resources for healthcare environments, Nicole has her own art gallery in Carmel-by-the-Sea, where she shares her calming, nature-inspired artwork rooted in the same intention: to help people slow down and feel a little more grounded.
